Italian TUNA Quiche

Description:
Grated cheddar cheese, chopped carrot and tuna combine to make a delicious quiche.
Ingredient:
Quiche Shell Pastry
250 gm plain flour
125 gm semi soft butter
2 tbsp ice water
2 tbsp grated cheddar cheese
Quiche Egg Mixture
1 x 180g can TC Boy White Meat Tuna with Mayonnaise
2 x 180g can TC BOY Solid White Meat Tuna in Extra Virgin Olive Oil, drained
¼ cup chopped carrot
4 fresh eggs
1 cup fresh milk
80 gm cream cheese
1 tablespoon McCormick’s Garlic and Herb Chicken seasoning
Some black pepper to taste
Garnish Quiche surface with grated Cheddar Cheese
Preparation:
1. Mix flour, soft butter, chedder cheese and water together to form soft dough. Chill for about 1 hour befoe use. Roll out ready chilled dough, with circle cookie cutter , cut out dough sheets.
2. Press pastry crust into prepared miniature muffin cups . Bake quiche pastry cups in 400 C hot oven for about 8 to 10 minutes until lightly brown. Remove and fill semi baked pie shell with Tuna flakes and chopped carrot.
3. Pour eggy quiche mixture over, sprinkle each with grated Cheddar cheese . Bake in hot oven of 200 C fr about 18 – 20 minutes until center of quiches is set. To serve warm best , cool 5 minutes before removing from muffin pans.
